STEP 1 - PREP
Wash and dry your hands. Trim or file natural nails as needed. Buff the nail plates and wipe with rubbing alcohol.
Gently, remove 1 mount at time, make sure you’re removing them from the front, removal from the back of the tab may cause breakage.
To make sure extensions don’t break, especially ones of longer lengths, use cuticle nippers to clip them at the root. Use nail file to buff uneven edges.
If this is your first time, push the mount all the way in. This helps avoid placing it too close to the cuticle. Placement too close can cause discomfort depending on sensitivity. After applying, remove the guide extension to reveal the final look. Cure again for at least 60 seconds to fully dry the glue.
Place your finger right above the mount of your veneer. Pinch your finger—your index finger on the veneer, and your thumb underneath your finger.
Move the nail back and forth and apply pressure to help the “wings” catch. Make sure the mount on your nail and the veneer are properly aligned.
All motions should be circular, so make sure your nails aren’t too long!
TIP: Practicing with a clear nail can make this much easier if you’re struggling.
Grab something thin (like another veneer) and slide it under the wings—either on the veneer or the mount. Make sure there’s no residue (like glue), and gently lift them in case they’re out of position. Then try again.
Use a hair dryer on high heat for 3–5 seconds to slightly soften the nail. This allows it to remold to your natural curvature. You can also do this if the nail goes in but feels tight—just heat it while it’s on your finger so it molds perfectly to your nail.
